Call for Papers
5th International IDU Engineering Symposium – IES’23 will be organized as hybrid (on-site and online) event by Izmir Democracy University on 15-17 November, 2023. The symposium, which will be held with the main theme of “Engineering Applications in Industry and Disaster Engineering In The 100th Year of The Republic of Turkey”, is open to the participation of all students, engineers, academicians, and scientists working in the fields of engineering disciplines.
The purpose of IES’23 is to bring together researchers and scientists to discuss research, projects, and practices carried out within the framework of the concepts set out in the main theme. To create a platform in which students, researchers, and academicians working in different fields can share their information and experience, and to support the development of joint multidisciplinary projects are the main objectives.
The organizing committee of the symposium is pleased to invite prospective authors to submit their original manuscripts to IES’23.
All abstract submissions will be double-blind and peer-reviewed. The papers will be evaluated based on their originality, research content, technique, readability, correctness, and relevance to the conference. All the abstracts will be included in the IES’23 abstract proceeding book, and full papers (optional submission after the symposium presentation) will be included in the IES’23 full text paper proceeding book.
